HAUS217 is home to new dining concepts and art installations. Designed as a modular venue and inspired by the Japanese lifestyle Wabi-Sabi which is to embrace and appreciate the beauty in imperfection.
Our founders hope and wish for this philosophy to be adopted by our guests and practiced in marriage, celebrations and events.
The curation of stone and wood brings nature into the venue. Careful and meticulously crafted stained wood accents the interior, reminisce of European travel homes. The use of large textured glass provides heaps of natural light and privacy simultaneously. The open coffee counter boasts a magnificent stone wall, large counter space for all your beverage needs and the five wooden beams expanding across suggests that life can spring forth even from the hardest of places.
Conscience effort was made to include arches and curves throughout the passageways creating spaciousness and a sense of flow. We left no stone unturned to ensure that even the most plain and overlooked part of the interior was taken into account, the walls are textured scrupulously to truly embody the naturalistic concept of Wabi-Sabi.
